Like if the team wins a league, do the owners get paid any amount from the league itself? Or do owners make money from sponsorships, business deals etc

Some teams are publicly owned, so lots of people can own a little bit or a lot of the team. These teams then pay a small amount money to the people who own a bit of the team each year. The amount is determined by the board of directors, who are a group of people who look after the company that runs the team.
People can easily buy and sell some bits of the team too! They do this on the stock market.
