how do they film sex scenes in movies, especially in shots where it seems like actors are clearly having sex (question triggered after watching poor things)

Recently there’s been a development called intimacy coordinators whose job is to figure out how to simulate sex footage without making the actors too uncomfortable.
This can get really complex in something like Euphoria that is so much like p0rn it has clips hosted on those sites.
