How do wasps (and other insects) not get dizzy?

With how erratically they fly, always changing direction and quickly, how do they do it?

Your sense of balance comes from the fluid in your ears. When you move around, the fluid touches different parts of the inner ear, which tells you which way is up. Dizziness happens when that fluid begins to swirl around, tricking you into feeling that you are spinning around.

Flies don’t have this system.

They just aren’t doing as much spinning as you think–there’s no reason for them to get dizzy. It’s the equivalent of you walking back and forth between stores in the mall or driving a reasonable speed on a winding road. They don’t change axis or even orientation to direction of travel.
