There is friction! From the water pressure. Same thing as if you’re rinsing off dishes in the sink – the water pressure blasts off debris, and the dish detergent helps break down stuff that’s stuck on more so that over a full cycle, stuff SHOULD be clean (assuming the washer was loaded correctly and things aren’t super caked on)

It’s all about the hot water, powerful jets, and enzymes in the detergent. The heat breaks down food, the enzymes dissolve it, and the water pressure washes it all away no scrubbing needed!

Do you think there’s no friction between jets of water and your dishes? Because there certainly is friction.

Soap is also very good at dissolving food left on the plate, due to soap being both polar an nonpolar at the same time. It has a polar side, like water, so it easily dissolves in water, and a nonpolar side, like oil, so it can easily dissolve in oil. This helps the water dissolve the leftover food

What do you mean no friction? Water has IMMENSE friction! The water pressure handles scrubbing everything without a break in a washing cycle, the soap bonds to the grime and dirt and refuse, allowing the water to pull off even more!
