A person can do push ups multiple times, but a cripplingly depressed person can barely lift their arm. Why? Is it like like adrenaline but backwards?

I spend more energy managing my chronic Suicidal Ideation than I do on my day-to-day. I’m constantly ruminating. And my insomnia kicks in.

The brain takes up a lot of energy, and because it goes into overdrive, I’m always tired.

The people around me drain my energy, too. Constant attempts at trying to make me feel better just adds to the ruminations and such. So as much as they want to help me, the people are making me more tired
