How does donating money to charity help small businesses?

Donations are tax deductible, so the business is saving some of that money while also helping the community, and their brand/image. Obviously, not donating saves even more money but companies have found over time that a certain balance exists between your four stakeholder groups, and you can’t ignore any of them. They are: customers, employees, suppliers, and community.
