I can understand freezing to death / hypothermia – but how do people die from hot weather?

Coz humans are weak without our external support systems. Houses, clothing, fire, shade etc.
Even our own immune systems come close to killing us when we get infections, a variation of 2c or 3c internal temperature can be fatal. Heating up due to fever causes the infection to be killed but along the way things get inflamed (swollen) and that’s bad for things like hearts, brains and lungs that all need to operate at certain pressures.
Thing car tyres, ballons, hose fittings. Increase the pressure in them too much and they all fail.
