how does human organ cloning/growing work?

I’m very dumb, but I’d love it if I could do it somehow. like, VIABLE, usable organs that can be donated and used

the thing is… not really.

you can clone *tissues*, the type of cells that make up an organ, but without something to scaffold them on and hormones to tell them how to arrange, it’ll always just be a blob of that tissue. That’s why it’s looking hopeful to do for, say, meat to eat… but not, say, a functional human kidney.

some avenues of this take existing animal organs, and then just slowly replace those cells with human cell tissues, making something that may be close enough to implant but that’s pretty far-off yet.
