I don’t think it has much to do with the steroids. Some body-builders take human growth hormone, or an animal growth hormone, and end up becoming weird-looking monsters. I think they look that way because bones don’t grow evenly once they are already set, it at all.

When you put on muscle, you put on muscle everywhere, including your face. Also, cutting weight and dehydrating yourself for your body to look best on camera also makes your face look different. Steroids themselves are not typically the cause of the ‘fat head’ look so much as HGH.
