There are some theories about “blue light’ aka the artificial light from screens and how t affects our bodies, but it’s not scientifically sound, just a suggestion. However, experiencing light during hours of the day where you wouldnt naturally (like screen time before bed, or even keeing the lights on all night) can affect your sleep for sure. Your body can recognize when day turns to night by the change in light, and thats when you body knows to start producing melatonin. You can trick your body into not realizing it needs to produce that melatonin with light
