At that same depth on land, we have caves. Why doesn’t the earth compress things like water does? Does gravity do different things to different materials? The Kola Superdeep Borehole (deepest hole we’ve ever made) wasn’t just shy of half of 25K feet. I think that deep Earth would compress most things.
