Im not sure what you ask for. Are you asknig how radio communication and antennas work?
Do you want to know how locating a signal works? Dust is not sending signals to a vacuum robot where it is, most of these robots ether drive in random directions or have a digital map of your house and go in every corner, there is no locating anythung except the carging base and that can be just backtracking its way.
