We only have a small amount of acid in our stomachs, much less than you’d guess. We *do* throw this up. Thats why bulemics can develop tooth problems – because the acidity of vomit can wear down your teeth.

Throwing up is good reflex for avoiding some poisoning. There is hospital drug to stop that reflex, for nutrition. The acid ruins teeth and it would be good to wash. Vomit out the nose is the funny.

Your stomach produces and neutralizes acid as needed. But yes, throwing up does include your stomach acid, that’s part of the reason your throat feels so raspy afterwards.

It’s also why throwing up frequently for any reason is bad for you. Frequent exposure to acid is bad for throat, teeth and anything else that gets acid burned.
