Your stomach produces and neutralizes acid as needed. But yes, throwing up does include your stomach acid, that’s part of the reason your throat feels so raspy afterwards.

It’s also why throwing up frequently for any reason is bad for you. Frequent exposure to acid is bad for throat, teeth and anything else that gets acid burned.
