How does throwing up work, and wouldn’t we throw up all the acid in our stomach?

Throwing up is good reflex for avoiding some poisoning. There is hospital drug to stop that reflex, for nutrition. The acid ruins teeth and it would be good to wash. Vomit out the nose is the funny.
