Our body’s internal systems, are essentially just a bunch of chemical reactions that have been refined over millions of generations of random mutations and survival of the fittest (evolution).

It’s like mixing up kool-aid and not having enough sugar. You taste it, if it doesn’t taste right, you keep adding sugar and tasting until it’s how it’s supposed to taste. Same thing in the body, if the chemical balance isn’t what your system is used to, your body “tastes” itself and regulates what you need or don’t need.
