How effective is shaking wet hands after washing them to reduce bacteria?

I usually wave my hands to shake it dry but I’m not sure if this is a common thing to do.

It’s more about using less paper (or having to wait less) so they dry than having less bacteria on them honestly.

Unless you use a more unhygienic drying method otherwise (reusable towel or ~~hot~~ air blower).
