He would recruit really young women offering to fund their education in exchange for “working” for him at his estate – what that really meant was giving him massages and being subservient to his whims, which often included sexual favors he would pressure them into performing. A lot of grooming and abuse was involved as well. Ghislaine Maxwell became his primary co-conspirator and did a lot of the recruiting for him. I think that slowly evolved into his sex island where he’d pass these women around to all his rich and powerful friends.
It implicates lots of rich people because they all associate with each other and they all tend to be sociopathic, power-hungry, pedophilic perverts who enjoy exerting their power over helpless young women.

Epstein was a money manager – he was paid lots of money to tell other people what to do with their money. That was his official business. He was wealthy and had many wealthy and connected clients.
His sex trafficking and prostitution business was more of a blackmail operation rather than a money maker in its own right. He deliberately hooked high profile wealthy and powerful people on his sex offerings, recorded them and collected other evidence against them. He used this information to obtain favors from his clients, extend his influence to other people by having his current clients set up prospective clients for the same sort of extortion, and keep the authorities at bay. At least until he couldn’t any more.
i always imagined he would not do the blackmailing himself, but sell the tapes to people / goverments who needed to blackmail that person. what i dont understand is…it was known that he was doing that, why would people take the risk of having sex on his island?
Who all has even been credibly accused? Prince Andrew is the one who comes to mind. There are a bunch of other names from the flight manifests, but that only proves they were on his plane. Serious question, fwiw.
Exposing child porn and sex rings is not easy.
But from my personal experiences, there are always a lot of people involved and in a wide variety of income and economical situations.
Also, its often the women attached to the abusers that are encouraging the continued silence.

Epstein was a glorified pimp and extortionist. He started out as a school teacher and became (in name only) a fund manager.
He liked young girls and had a talent for procuring them. He eventually was able to share his girls with incredibly rich and powerful men and extort money from them to the point where he was also incredibly wealthy.
During this journey, he met Glislaine Maxwell. Maxwell’s father was a disgraced billionaire media mogul who died in disgrace and under suspicious circumstances. He supplied Israel with its original fleet of planes for its Air Force. When he died, representatives of the CIA, KGB, Mossad, and MI6 attended as did almost every living Israeli prime minister.
Glaslaine introduced Epstein to US and British high society (including Prince Andrew). She also probably brought his blackmail and extortion program under US and/or Israeli intelligence control.
I won’t do a repeat of what everyone already said, but there’s one detail that made this all childishly easy: Luggage of extremely wealthy people flying on their own personal private jets are never inspected. They get their own custom inspection to go through, which consists essentially of “thank you have a nice day Sir, we appreciate all the business.” on both ends of the flight.
If rich and important people are officially considered “too low risk to national security to bother”, then they know they can move anyone or anything between nations unofficially, the risk becomes null and void. Even if a 13 year old child is questioned and it turns out there’s no parent autorisation to leave the country, they simply understand that it must be a simply misunderstanding, “Please come back once her paperwork has cleared Sir, I’m sure she’ll love her dream vacation on the island she’s so impatient to get.”.
Billionires don’t use their private jets and customs inspection points to smuggle illegal goods, they “expedite the redtape”. Punishing them would “ruin a valuable contribution to society, everyone makes mistakes” in the same way as “Rich people aren’t crazy, they’re excentric. They’re not sociopaths, they’re goals oriented and get shit done”.
This whole affair should make us rethink how these parasites are accomodated in our society.

Epstein threw a lot of parties for rich people. And he ran modeling business or had connections to modeling companies. So his parties were full of rich and powerful men and lots of beautiful eager women.
Some of his parties were just social events for rich people. Like legit normal events. And it gave him credibility.
Some of his parties were more ‘adventurous’ same people but no cameras more drugs and more private spaces where people could sneak off to fool around.
And some of his parties were totally just sex parties with his prostitutes.
Except his prostitutes came from his modeling companies. International modeling companies. Companies that recruited teens. So teens trafficked from Europe. Who could be sent back if they complained about being made to have sex with rich old guys.
And for a long time he got away with things because saying ‘going to an Epstein party’ meant the first legit type, but now it means the last one.
He was providing a (gross illegal) service to people who could buy anything else. And those who went kept giving him favors and help and money and it made him richer.

They were deadly and could burn off your skin outside of an NBC suit, but in the poopy diapey of the NBC suit you were ok from the beta burn wand, it did not kill your marrow because it was a beta source (burn radiation) not a gamma source.
