full of stuffs on top of belt = electrons

you push a button and machine moves belt slowly towards the other end,
stuff falls off the belt on their end soon after,
don’t have to wait until your stuff actually travels to their end

you put more stuff on top while belt is moving forward
the other person pushes a button to reverse the machine, now belt moves towards you
and the stuff you just put on of the belt falls back off on your end right after
