If you use an even smaller dose in a specific part of the body, you can paralyze muscles without killing a person (that’s how botulinum toxin kills, it paralyzes muscles and makes you unable to breathe or stops your heart). Sometimes by paralyzing face muscles (thus forcefully relaxing them) you can make people prettier, but if you use too much or in the wrong spot, you will paralyze things you didn’t want to, like eyelids or the tongue.
