How is it possible that protons and electrons never decay?

Logically speaking, this seems like an impossible concept to grasp. We see and expect things all things to eventually come to an end, from the mightiest stars to the smallest living things.

How is it possible that certain particles will never, ever lose pieces of their mass or become smaller over time? How can they last forever?

All particles like to be lazy .When they become lazy their energy becomes less, when energy becomes less then they tend to go to lower energy level ( next demotion level i.e., decay into other particles )

Since proton has least energy say like a dead person. It can’t be more dead although it has energy more than 0 but not 0 .so theoretically it can decay but it takes alot of time insane amount of time ,by that time the universe we know might not exist
