How is it possible to accurately hear what a car audio system sounds like through a YouTube video?

I noticed on YouTube sometimes for car reviews they do a sound system test, sometimes even comparing two sound systems in one car or more. I do think they sound slightly different, but is this really giving an accurate reflection of the sound system? From my understanding the quality of a sound system depends on how it’s built or something, so if for example I was listening to a sound system of a car through a YouTube video through the headphones I have on, aren’t I really just listening to how well the recording device used picks up sound, and how well my headphones relay that sound to me?

It’s a review. You’re not the one passing judgement on the sound, the reviewer is. You’re watching the review to hear the reviewer’s conclusions, not to listen to the product.
To answer the initial question: No, it is not possible.
