The sessions are not necessarily ment to make you feel better. Therapy is like an instructional course of how you will make yourself feel better. The therapist listens to your problem, your life, then help you design mental tools and exercise that you can use to be healthier. How you can approach your problems to in a healthier way. And perhaps a little side of pepp talk to get you started.
