(EUV – current top tier of chips) Tickle hot tin droplets with a 20,000 watt laser to make it give off extra spicy UV light. Bounce light off mirrors to focus, bounce off the mask (pattern of circuits) and finally to silicon disc coated with photoresist. Wash off undeveloped resist with ultra pure water. Repeat until complete.
About 1% of the light makes it to the silicon, because EUV does not reflect well. To get even that requires a vacuum environment.
