: How they clean big aquariums?

I recently came across a video about a whale, shark and other big fish in aquarium. Now I want to know that How do they clean those aquariums?

They stick a big vacuum down to the floor, which sucks up waste and water. Once they’ve sucked up half the water, they add fresh new same-temperature water.

depends a bit on what you want to clean. in the wild there are natural systems to help break down waste, consume dead stuff, and control the growth of organisms like algae, and in larger aquariums its easier to recreate some of the these natural systems and ecosystems that is more easily taken out with filtration and water changes. In tanks where its safe many employ divers to help with manual cleaning, and rely on longer tools with tanks where its not.
