Get a pane of glass. Paint your desired credits on the pane of glass carefully. Move the glass across a scene or black background while filming. Now you have a scrolling text credit sequence.

Want to get fancy? Place that pane of glass in front of a set from the movie and have actors doing stuff behind it. Now you have credits floating in front of a moving scene instead of a static background.
