For example why does rabies start it’s replication process in the pons and not anywhere else?

It’s fascinating how bacteria like rabies have their preferred “homes” in our body, just like little creatures finding their cozy spots! I think it has to do with how these bacteria are wired to interact with certain cells and chemicals in specific places

It’s like they have their own secret hideouts in our body’s complex playground!
