I got the AC on full blast and the room feels cold enough that I need a blanket. So how come every thermometer says the room is at 25C/77F?

In order to cool your house to 77F with the airconditioner, the temperature of the air coming out the vent will be 15 to 20F lower than the temperature it is cooling to. There are air currents in your 77F house that are 57F, which causes you to feel cold when they hit you.
