I went to a concert at a venue that also hosts Ice Hockey games. My sister in law asked a question I have no answer to. How is the floor (which functioned basically as a mosh pit) transform into an ice rink? I know that there are mats taken up, but how is water/ice installed? How is it then brought to ice temperature? How long does it take?

The ice is there all the time. There’s insulated boards that get put down on top of the ice. They’re all marked and numbered they all have specific spots.
