If Fluoride is able to remineralize the enamel of our teeth, would it be possible to keep toothpaste in your mouth for extended periods to maximize the effect?

It’s advisable to spit out excess saliva and toothpaste but not rinse after brushing. I didn’t know this until last week.

I think I read somewhere that excess fluoridation can reduce bone density and contribute to osteoporosis. Some people were getting over fluoridated because they had fluoridated city water, fluoride toothpaste, were using fluoride mouth wash, and receiving fluoride treatments at their dentist. You can have too much of a good thing.
