If I moved a bird that migrates to its destination, would it know?

Question

Would it recognize that it’s where it was heading to or would it be confused and fly in the direction it’s used to trying to find it’s destination?

I once had a Peregrine falcon that was injured due to a territory dispute during breading season.   After it was rehabilitated it was dropped off 150 miles away.   Two days later it was found injured back at the original spot.
