If I use different toothpastes each time I brush my teeth, can I get both effects? Are they half as effective as a result?

Say I use a whitening toothpaste in the evening and an anti cavity toothpaste at night.

Obviously both will help prevent cavities and help keep my teeth white, but will my teeth be 50% whiter(er?) and 50% cavity freer or how would they be affected by using different toothpastes?

Is there a world where mixing them gives best results?

Please understand this isn’t super serious but I am curious!

The part that helps prevent cavities is the fluoride and the whitener is usually either peroxide or an abrasive of some kind. Just check the ingredients. If they contain the same amount of fluoride then there you go it’s not necessary to mix.
