If Q-Tips are bad for the ear, why do they feel so damn good?

Q-tips stimulate your vagus nerve, which feels good. If you use them to aggressively, or heaven forbid, bump into something when one is in your ear, it can damage the structures in your inner ear. This can include perforation of the eardrum. You don’t want an eardrum perforation, they suck, speaking from experience.
