Been wondering, if for example you committed a crime in Antartica, what would happen to you? Are you going to be deported back to your country or serve jail time in Antartica?

Many countries have laws that say you gotta follow your home countries laws as best you can even in foreign countries AND when outside the jurisdiction of any country. “International waters” is not the free pass to murder and shit like movies portray.
For example if an American citizen went somewhere that having sex with children is legal and did so and the feds/state finds out, you will still be prosecuted to the full extent as if you did so on US soil. It’s happened multiple times.
