If we’re supposedly training AIs to recognize cars, busses, etc. by filling in CAPTCHAs, how come we are still teaching them the same stuff as 10 years ago? Shouldn’t the images have gotten harder or more sophisticated, to reflect the AIs increasing ability to recognize objects?

Now that you talk about it, I remember very différents phases.

Early captchas asked to type words,
Then I remember a lot of stop sign or trafic light
Then it was motorcycle,
Bus,
Trucks

Still about self driving car probably but different items
