I was browsing some top posts and saw the defiant citizen image of tiananmen square. I then went on a rabbit hole about how truly tragic the event was and I just couldn’t help but think, even if I was part of their military there’s no way I would be ok with gunning down innocent people and literally driving over them in tanks.
I know it’s probably naive to think like that but what makes its “ok” to do for those that aren’t the ones making the decisions?
