How is it possible that foreign aid and a TikTok bill are in the same bill. That to me sounds like having to vote to accept one thing but also another thing that is completely unrelated.

Wish I knew. These bills get far too complicated and convoluted and nobody knows what’s in them because they are hundreds or even thousands of pages. I’d much prefer cut and dry singe subject bills. None of this TikTok ban being lumped into foreign aid package shit.
