is drinking two 12% a.c the same as drinking three 8% a.c drinks?

So like the title says, if I drink two 12% alcohol content drinks is it the same as if I drank three 8% drinks?

If the drinks were of equal volume, yes and no. Yes you will have ingested an equal amount of alcohol but your stomachs contents and bodies ability to process the alcohol over the same timeframe would be different. It would take longer to digest 3 drinks than 2. Other factors could be sugar content which may affect the effect of drunkenness. In short, you may feel more drunk with 2 higher content drinks.
