I’m talking about those disco balls that have each individual glass square stuck on, and the squares themselves are flat pieces of glass mirror. If this is a fire hazard, how can I recreate those pretty reflective bits of light in a room safely please? TIA :))
If the panels are flat then they will not concentrate the light the way a convex lens or concave mirror would. So they will only be dangerous if the intensity of light coming through your window is already dangerous. And that is very unlikely.

No, it only reflects sunlight in a bunch of small spots, no concentration of the light the way a lens can. I’ve got an 8 inch one in a south facing window.
