is is possible to make captured carbon back into a useful solid form?

For many years now I have wondered why we aren’t able to turn the air captured carbon into useful things like carbon fiber or carbon nanotube batteries. surely there must be some way of doing this through the magic of chemistry.

I always wondered, how big a diamond could we create from the excess CO2 in the atmosphere? Let’s say we extract it all (including what’s been sunk into the ocean) back to the CO2 levels of 1750. Anybody got an answer for that?

You need to either use the trees for building/furniture or just bury it somewhere it won’t decompose.
