Is opera GX bad for me?

Question

So from what i can gather opera GX is Chinise spyware that sells my data, but what does that mean? Does that actually take anything away from me or put me in any danger? I would definetely like to keep using it, and don’t really mind a company spying on me, but if that could actually affect me i’d like to know

been using opera and now opera gx for years and never had any problems.

did you know tiktok, reddit also has ties to China yeah? are you gone stop using reddit now?
