is there any difference between drinking lightly flavored but unsweetened sparkling water, vs. plain non-carbonated water?

Sparkling waters are more acidic than plain tap water because of the dissolved carbon dioxide, and ones flavored with fruit juices (like Spindrift) also have the fruit acids. This could impact your tooth enamel if you drink a lot of them.

It’s just as healthy and hydrating as plain water. Carbon dioxide adds a tiny bit of acidity, as others have said, but my doctor said I’d have to drink an ungodly dangerous amount of sparkling water for it to affect my teeth, and I’d be more likely to get sick from an electrolyte balance first.
