It’s hard for me to comprehend the idea that space never ends. Is there really no boundary to space? How do scientists know this?

They dont know for sure. But two opportunities are just flat space which never ends, truly infinite. Or a curved finite space which folds back into each other. If you keep going you end up where you started, just like on the earth.
