Microsoft Single Use Code

Hi all,

I keep getting emails from Microsoft saying:

If you didn’t request this code, you can safely ignore this email. Someone else might have typed your email address by mistake.

I don’t think it’s a scam but just curious why this keeps happening, if others are experiencing the same thing, and what can be done?

TLDR: someone knows your account’ss backup Email but not its password.

change all the relevant passwords
