My (clothes)dryer has a “more dry”setting. How does it detect its level of dryness?

It doesn’t really detect the dryness, but lack there of. There’s a humidity sensor built in. As your wet clothes heat up and the air is exhausted the humidity level drops until the the air in the dryer is (I’m making up numbers) 5% humid. More Dry might wait until the air is 3% for example.
