On some timekeeping devices (especially those who feature a calendar) why are some the digits/days/months in red?

On some of my watches some of the digits are colored red, on the 24-hour dial, and on the day window on most watches “Sunday” is almost always painted red as opposed to black, it’s the same for perpetual calendars

Red days are special days where most people are free from work and school.

Its to mark holidays and such. Sundays are rest days and also church day. So it’s a special day
