What determines a person’s pain tolerance? I appear to have no tolerance while my husband seems to have a ton of it. Why?

Fun fact: Women have more nerve endings in their skin versus men, so more pain receptors to register damage/temperature changes. Assuming your not male, your husband literally feels less around him than you do, barring any neurological/physchological deviations from the average person.
