Painmeds not stopping all kinds of pain

I broke my plevic bone last Saturday and since then take 20mg of Oxycodon and 4g’s of metamizol natrium per 24h.
I noticed from the beginning, that my hip/plevic area is fairly painfree but for example my hand/ribs still hurt.

So please enlighten me on how this works and how the “different types of pain” get suppressed differently.

Thank y’all in advance!

The nerve that runs along your rib cage and left arm is different and reacts different to the morphine going down your spine. Honestly try taking a couple Tylenols if your doctor allows it.

Your brain has to create a consciousness of the pain around your body and different types of pain too. Too much pain is a bad thing and the body parts are far away from the brain so this makes the brains job way hard and many errors are produced. Most argue long term pain is not usually evolutionarily positive if it doesn’t go away or get better on its own.
