This was mentioned on a program I watched and I read about it and have absolutely no clue and honestly I will be impressed by any teacher on here who has the ability to make someone understand it

Not everything can ever be ELI5.
Inparticular just explaining the parts of this with any rigour whatsoever would be beyond many adults let alone simple enough for a child or non-maths adult.
Though teaching is just ever-increasingly accurate “lies to children”, as a maths grad it would take me a week to get anyone not versed in maths up to speed on this.
