Stats aren’t my thing. Can someone drop the CliffsNotes version on how to make one??

True positives vs False Positives

Rank your scores from most likely to least likely. Start in the lower left of the chart.

As you walk down the list, if you get a point correct, move up. If you get a point wrong, move right.

Better models have ROC curves which go further up and stay left longer. Worse models have ROC curves which move right quicker and take longer to grow upwards.

Also, there is usually a function in your stats platform which creates the plot for you. 🙂
